This site creates a virtual classroom for comparative civics and encourages global education for the 21st century. The interactive map of civic engagement will help you navigate the site and discover all the valuable resources and participatory learning opportunities it has to offer, including:

  • The International Democracy Memory Bank, a powerful resource for transmitting the stories of the world’s great democratic struggles from one generation to the next. This section offers a student-collected repository of narratives from engaged citizens who have helped to advance rights and freedoms through their actions.
     
  • Student Voices, an international forum where students can voice their opinions on citizenship. This section features an interactive worldwide student survey and essays authored by students from around the world.
